Father, sometimes it's difficult to understand you: You ask us to leave everything and follow you. Since we feel the resistance of our hearts we want to ask you for your help in understanding what you want from us.

Father God, grant us your wisdom

• We ask you, Father, for all Christians so that we may be capable of discovering the joy we receive when we live like Jesus lived.

Father God, grant us your wisdom

• We ask you, Father, for those who govern nations so that the position of responsibility they occupy is not a special reward for them but only a way of better serving the people.

Father God, grant us your wisdom

• We ask you, Father, for those who don't have anything to eat. Grant us solidarity with them so that each one of us gives them a hand according to our possibilities.

Father God, grant us your wisdom

• We ask you, Father, for all of us who are lucky to know you. Give us your Spirit so that we may live giving things and ourselves to others.

Father God, grant us your wisdom

Thank you, Father, for living in our hearts. Teach us not to try and become rich in things but in love and service for others. We ask this of you by the means of your Son and our Master, Jesus.
