All of us have known the abundance of God's Love; the majority of us have all our needs more than satisfied. Let us remember those of our community, district and town who do not have the same good luck as us and let us pray with confidence to our Father God.

Father, teach us to be generous and cooperative.

• May the fact of listening to your Word, soften our hearts to the needs of those who surround us.

Father, teach us to be generous and cooperative.

• Teach us, good God, to share what we have with those who don't have work, those who live in the anxiety of losing their home, those who suffer hunger.

Father, teach us to be generous and cooperative.

• Make us men and women of peace, that with our words, gestures and acts we may become builders of a world of peace.

Father, teach us to be generous and cooperative.

• Make fruitful, good God, the work of NGOs and institutions like Caritas that work for the equality and dignity of all men and women.

Father, teach us to be generous and cooperative.

Father, look after all our needs, those that we know about and those that only you know about. Teach us, above all, to look after and reduce the needs of all those who surround us, Amen.
